Free Fallin'

It was recently brought to my attention that there exists a website dedicated to the waterfalls of New Brunswick. It lists all of the waterfalls I can remember ever being to, which, sadly, is only a list of 3 - Dunbar, Falls Brook, and Williams Falls at
Mount Carleton. I guess I could add the North Branch of the Little Southwest Miramichi River at Little Forks because it is basically one long chute from the Beaver pools down. So that's 4. Fortunately, the website also lists the Forest Hill Falls and Odell Falls both of which I have walked by countless times growing up in Freddy. So that's 6 and I'm guessing I'm forgetting at least a few (Fundy?, does Little Falls in the St. Croix count?) so I can at least claim a few. It's clear, though, that I have missed the vast majority. And for people in that position this website is perfect. There should, one day, be a map on my wall full of pins showing these waterfalls. Maybe one of these summers when I have any time. Until then I have a great place to plan my trip.

Pace out.

You Know that I did the botanical inventory of the water falls of NB.....back in 1998, went to every single one of them.

I remember that as being one of the coolest summer jobs ever. If you've got some that you don't see on this list you should let this guys know. He welcomes the info.

Hey Si,

There's a new book on the waterfalls of NB as well. Goose Lane just put it out. It's really nice. I'd love to try and hit them all too.
