Good Friday
The remake of Friday the 13th comes out tonight amid much fanfare. It has been remade by the same folks that successfully remade The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. The trailer looks scary enough for me but then again I probably haven't watched a horror movie since I got conned into watching the aformention Chainsaw remake with a promise of Jessica Biel's boobs. They were not shown. The original Friday the 13th was probably where I first got roped into the horror genre. It was the first movie in which I can remember a sex scene. Add to that the fact that it legitimately scared the hell out of me, and I consider it to be a very underrated horror movie. The cliches of the later movies should not take away from the originals.
The title of this post is also one of those forgotten jems from a much underrated band and it's my pick for flashback Friday.
