Turn Time Off
Hi, Welcome back.I took a few weeks off to see if anyone actually noticed that I stopped. It turns out people did and then I just needed to get back in the habit of sitting down and writing. It's amazing how easily a habit that involves some work can die easy. Fortunately it didn't die, it just took a rest.
This is the Flashback Friday post but in this case I'm only flashing back to last night at the Playhouse and my favourite song off of David Myles's brand new album. Last night was the CD release party and it was a great success. Dave is getting more and more polished and he's finding his groove, quite literally, on a couple of the new tracks. This tune is low-key but also low-down and dirty. If he keeps this up he'll be the Maritimes' version of Keith Sweat, mood musician extraordinaire.
I hope everyone is great, please let me know!
Pace out.

Welcom back Si! Loved that Matt Mays show we caught @ the Atlantic Pavilion. Can't get "Terminal Romance" outta my head. You were right when you said "listen to this one man, it's good".

What an awesome show last night. Seeing Dave's full band together made for some great moments. It was my first time seeing Dave with Joanna on piano. That girl is foolishly talented.
Nice to see you back writing again. Was getting worried.
Great show last night, though was only able to stay for first 30 minutes. Looking forward to the Ross Neilsen release tomorrow night, are you attending...?
